Sacraments

Baptism

Please call the rectory at (413) 625-6405 to arrange to meet with the pastor about date and ceremony.  The preparation process includes meeting with our pastoral minister and includes attending class.

Confirmation

Usually celebrated in 11th grade as part of our CCD program. Adult classes are also available. Contact Bill Yager at the Office of Religious Education.

Confession

Heard before the Masses.

Twice a year at the Forth Sunday in Advent and Fifth Sunday in Lent in the St. Joseph Church Communal Reconciliation Service.

Also any time by appointment.

Anointing

This is a sacrament of healing.

Before surgery, during an extended illness or in extreme cases, do not hesitate to call on the priest to offer the prayers of the Church.

There are oils in the sacristy so the priest can also do anointing during confession times.

Please advise us of anyone from your family who is hospitalized, sick or homebound so that we might keep them in prayer and visit them.

Marriage

Please make arrangements at least one year in advance.

Holy Orders

If you are exploring a vocation to the priesthood, please don’t hesitate to contact the diocesan Vocations Director, Fr. Gary Dailey at 452-0811
